MAY EPISODE
This month's show is a diverse collection of some serious topics, and fun ones as well. Roberta Gonzales-Gregg and Tom Smith bring it all together as the hosts for another great show. Here's the lineup . . . . . |
| The first segment features Aaron Bruno talking in the studio with Seth Hodge, who is a residential life coordinator for University Housing Services at San Jose State University. They talk about SJSU's non-discrimination policy, how it conflicted with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's policy prohibiting gay men from donating blood, and what Seth did about it. |
| Have you ever wondered what it's like to get a mammogram? In the second segment, "Health Matters", Raymond Donald Hong lets us all know as he follows Betty Sullivan into the clinic while she gets her first mammogram in twelve years. |
| In the third segment, Kim Lawson will bring us some scenes from the 43rd International Lyon Monarchy of San Francisco Coronation, held on Feb. 23, 2008. You'll see crowns sparkling with jewels, emperor, empresses, and Mark Leno giving out proclamations of recognition. |
| The fourth segment features Aaron Bruno's coverage of the Easter Celebration in San Francisco's Dolores Park, hosted by the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. There's a Gym Bunny contest and an appearance by the "Hunky Pope". |
| In the last segment, Raymond Donald Hong shows us his follow-up report on the new strain of MRSA which recently received publicity while being improperly associated with the gay community. Raymond was on the scene at a protest held at the Chronicle building in San Francisco. |
| During
the credit roll, you'll see a scene from the film "Shelter" from
Regent Releasing and now showing on Here TV, and featured in last
year's San Francisco International Lesbian and Gay Film Festival. If
you like surfers, you won't want to miss this scene. If you are in San Jose or Campbell, you can view the show on Thursday, May 8, at 10:30pm. San Francisco viewers can see the show on Sunday, May 4, at 5pm. For other cities, please see www.outlookvideo.org , then click "Air Dates".
